Leaders Begin To Show

As the NFL season progresses, the stronger teams for this year are begining to rise to the top.  Certainly, there is plenty of season left to play.  However, some teams are starting to show on the field and by the numbers.  Statistics are a reliable measuring point for the real leaders when it comes to team play.  Look at the records and the stats to help determine which teams are contenders and which are pretenders.  Of course, a major wildcard in the numbers will be "turnovers".  That elment alone can make or break a teams seasonal record.  All other things considered, how does your team rank in overall offense or defense?  Do you have a leading player ranked high in the NFL stats?  What's the plus or minus ratio when it comes to overall team turnovers?  Looking at the stats that your team has now, and, at the stats of the teams left on your schedule this year, will give you an idea on what the final outcome might look like.  Barring any serious injuries to your key players, are the playoffs still a possibility for your favorite team this season?  Your feedback is always encouraged!

Strong Start for NFC East

Can the NFC East be back to the form they enjoyed in the 1990's?  Althoug we're only a 25% into the 2016 season, the NFC East is looking very competitive in the league so far.  With the exception of the Giants who jump out early as the division leader, the Cowboys, Eagles and Redskins are all above .500.  With the NFC North and the AFC East on the schedules this season, there is a lot of football yet to be played.  However, as the teams begin to play each other in the NFC East, the cream should rise to the top.  Barring serious injuries, it should prove to be an exciting division this year.  Perhaps we'll stay away from that 8-8 division winner.  What's more, maybe two NFC East teams will make the playoffs.  Time will tell.

I think the NFC East will rank this way at season end:
    Giants
    Cowboys
    Redskins
    Eagles
